Thank you for considering membership of The Autism Directory charity. Your support is very much needed and appreciated, as we have some grand plans to really help and make a difference to families in the autism community and we can’t do any of it without funds.

There are families out there right now near breaking point and desperately need the help and support we want to give them. Having been on the journey ourselves we know how stressful and emotional it is not to be listened to, how draining it is to have to fight for the basic needs that most take for granted and how infuriating it is to be accused of being neurotic or having bad parenting skills. It is also isolating when you really feel you are on your own as society is not yet ready to understand and accept our children.

The Autism Directory will provide some level of support, but there are families who need much more support than this and desperately need someone with them as they go through tough times getting heard, fighting for the right resources, helping their children find thier way around this confusing world and helping them to believe in themselves and know that it’s really not their fault.

This is where we can really make a difference, and your membership fees can help us with our fundraising to provide that support to families for the times when they really need it.

By becoming a member you will help us to help those families that are struggling with everyday life, to support them through us training and providing specialist help so that they can cope with Autism.
